Fight Update
Tim Bradley (29-0, 12
KO’s), the WBO welterweight champion will be making his first title defense on March 16th,
according to his promoter Bob Arum. He’s not saying who his opponent
will be, so it’s anyone’s guess who winds up with him.
Arum said to 8countnews.com “Tim Bradley’s fight on March 16th. They’re finalizing his opponent in the next few days.”
The options for Bradley’s March 16th fight are among these fighters ; Jan Zaveck, Mike Jones, Lamont Peterson ,Bethel Ushona, Shawn Porter
None of those are great fights. Bradley wants to get the big money fights against Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. Unfortunately, his fighting style and his lack of a fan base will
likely keep him from getting another fight against Pacquiao. A fight
against Mayweather is highly unlikely to happen because Bradley fights for Top
Rank and Mayweather is very rarely fights Top Rank fighters. a
