Nonito Donaire vs Guillermo Regondeaux's fight on April

Regondeaux vs Donaire

It's been a long time when Guillermo Regodeaux (11-0-0, 8 KOs), the Cuban WBA super bantamweight belt holder called out Nonito Donaire Jr. (31-1-0, 20 KOs) the WBO super bantamweight champion for a unification bout.

Now its the time of the Filipino champion to turn the tide when he said earlier that he wanted to fight the undefeated WBC champion Abner Mares but welcomes the chances of going up against Rigondeaux.

Donaire said; At this point now, I'm like, whoever they put on that contract next to my name, that's the guy I'm fighting. I don't care who he is. I don't care if he's the best in the world, or if he's the greatest fighter of all time, or anything like that. If I see that guy's name next to mine, that's the guy I'm fighting.I'm not saying anything, I'm not doing anything. I'm just going to go out there and I'm going to win. It's pretty much as simple as that. I'm not the type to go out there and play all these stupid games and call people out and do this and do that. Apparently they just don't understand the world of boxing. And that's just what it is."

Now the deal between these two champions is almost over.  The Donaire-Rigondeaux clash will take place in either Las Vegas or New York on April 13, 2013.
